Education and Experience:

Diploma of Nursing Assistant or relevant
2 years of relavant experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist patients for preparation of procedures & accompany patients to Operation Theater for procedures.
Ensure adherence to infection control practices, safe patient care procedures, and hand hygiene practices.
Observe and report any changes in patients' conditions to nursing staff.
Ensure patient beds are clean, comfortable, and properly made.
Assist patients in getting into and out of bed safely.
Change bed linens regularly to maintain hygiene.
Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of all equipment.
Responsible for cleaning and disinfection of all medical equipment as per infection control guidelines
Provision of personal protective equipment as per infection control protocols.
Assess and prioritize critical patients and patients on wheel chairs in the waiting area.
Assess patient’s environment for safety & cleanliness.
Provide timely, comprehensive and complete nursing documentation, which meets nursing quality standards.
Complete assigned tasks and duties within the designated area.
Report clinical activities as assigned by supervisors
Ensure all reportable cases are communicated to Supervisor verbally and in written if required.
Respect culture, values and demonstrate the same in actions.Maintain privacy / confidentiality of patient’s information.
Participate in quality improvement and assurance activities.
Complete nursing assessments of patients in designated areas.
Assist physician/surgeon in patient examination.
Act always in such a way as to promote and safeguard the well-being and interest of patients.
