Job Highlights
Education and Experience:
You should have:
- a Doctorate / Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university
- current registration with pharmacy council Pakistan
- at least one year experience in a reputable organization
- familiarity with hospital pharmacy functioning and processes
- sound knowledge of physiology, pharmacology and pharmaceutical concepts
- knowledge of locally available drugs, pharmaceutical drugs and their indications
- excellent communication skills, particularly with medical professionals and patients
- willingness to work in shift duties

Roles and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
- dispense drugs in the inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory pharmacies
- review and process physician orders for accurate therapeutic doses
- monitor laboratory reports for proper indication of antibiotics, drug to drug interactions, duplication of same class etc.
- ensure timely delivery of medication to nursing units and patients
- ensure accuracy of the labels before dispensing
- complete expiry of drug list accurately and on timely-basis
- assist in patient counseling for outpatient prescription and maintenance of cash
- prepare cytotoxic drug, TPN solution, IVPB mixtures, sterile injection, bulk compounding and monitor chemo critical list.
